With the coming into force of the CJA 2009 the number of cases argued in the High Court involving inquest law has grown considerably. However, cases relevant to the work of Coroners’ Courts remain reported in a number of disparate sources, if at all. The Inquest Law Reports  is the only publication which aims to collect all cases relevant to coronial law readily in one resource. The reports provide the full text of judgments from the High Court, the Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court and the European Court of Human Rights; each case has a headnote prepared by specialists in inquest law.

The reports are provided in a loose-leaf binder so that new cases can be added with ease. Updates will be provided at regular intervals throughout the year as new cases are decided. These reports are an essential tool not only for Coroners, many of whom already subscribe, but also for barristers, solicitors and those public bodies (such as NHS Trusts, Police Forces and Prisons) whose work regularly involves appearances at inquests.
